Back to the Wheel World:

Well, I made it out of Lima. After one week I have finally left. What does that mean exactly?

1) No cars hit me hard enough to delay the tour, despite the ridiculous amounts of traffic on the underdeveloped streets in this 8-million person city.

2) I was able to tear myself away from the spoiled lifestyle my new Peace Corps volunteer friends and their friends were providing me. Now that I have left Lima, no more beds, or washers and dryers, or heated showers, or free food and drink, or homemade brownies, or jogs in the park, or movies before bed, or free internet, or social life... este... maybe I should just go back to Lima? Nahaniri.

This is for you, San Rafael. Jaha!

Peace and Love,
Samuel K. Hagler
